Man, it feels good to
be home! I have a lot to say, so much that it
will not be captured in this month’s Open Letter. But
let me say this: Today our community needs you more
than ever. We need to redouble our efforts to
strengthen our community. We need to redouble our
efforts to pour success into the lives of the next
generation. We need to make home ownership a
priority. We need to commit to supporting our black
elected officials. There is so much that needs to be
done. For my part, I will do my best to utilize this
platform to encourage greatness.

known for the better part of a decade. While assembling
