Local Little League Baseball Team | Receives Necessary Equipment

The East Palo Alto T-Ball/Pitching Machine is the recent recipient of a much-needed donation of baseball equipment and supplies that will assist this upcoming season.  Every year, Coach Gene Tate trains Las Vegas student athletes from ages 4 through 18 years in the fundamentals of baseball.  He continually emphasizes the tenets of the original East Palo Alto T-Ball/Pitching Machine, but its mission is more than about baseball, but teaches our youth about the requirements for becoming a productive citizen.  Before the COVID-19 Virus, the program participated in the annual Piper Davis National Inner City Youth Baseball Tournament in Birmingham, Alabama, and in 2017 the group traveled to Havana Cuba to play in the first international little league baseball tournament with that country.

The East Palo Alto T-Ball/Pitching Machine was established in 1992 in East Palo Alto, California, and expanded to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2003.  Each year hundreds of student athletes participate in this program and gain career exposure from local professionals like medical doctors, dentist, lawyers, politicians, restaurant owners, and other entrepreneurs who are committed to giving and influencing our youth.

The East Palo Alto T-Ball/Pitching Machine is a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization.  As such, it operates on donations from supportive citizens and businesses who only want the best of our youth.  If you would like to play a positive role by donating your time, giving equipment, supplies, or monies please contact Coach Gene Tate at [email protected].  We are so appreciative of the recent gracious donations from Maurice Baker and Alexander Klahr.
