Dooky Chase’s Restaurant opened its doors for business in 1941. What was initially a sandwich shop and lottery ticket outlet in 1939 blossomed into a thriving bar and later a respected family restaurant in Treme.
Georgia Brown's warmly opened its doors in 1993. Part of the visual appeal of the restaurant lends itself to the bronzed ceiling scroll, reminiscent of the grand oak trees that are outstretched like a lace border over Southern Streets.
